Think SNOW!!!
The first scheduled date of the 2019 Highmark Quad Ski is Saturday, January 19th at 10am. Conditions still need to improve to make this race happen. If Wilderness gets another 5-6 inches of snow before Friday, we will have a race!
If the snow doesn’t come the course will not be race ready for Saturday and we will move the race to the second date on Saturday, February 9th at 10am.
If I know for sure that the race WILL or WILL NOT go off I will make that call on Thursday. If I’m on the fence then I will wait until Friday at 12pm to decide. The final decision will be emailed out and posted on our website and Facebook page.
Whatever day the race does go off, we will have day of race registration. Online registration will be open through Thursday before the race.
It’s not to late to start training! Wilderness is a great place to ski or visit (and “Like”) the Mobile Trail Grooming page on Facebook and see what other places are groomed and skate-able in Erie and Crawford County. This group has been working to bring more groomed (classic and skate) trails to the area.
