The 2017 group rides are scheduled for June 12, 19, 26 at 6:00pm at the QUAD Bike starting line. Three groups will be offered during each ride A (advanced), B (intermediate), C (beginner) and riders will be venturing out on the QUAD course. Riders will meet at the football stadium parking lot (along Perry Lane) at 5:45pm and depart promptly at 6pm. All riders must bring their own bike and helmet. Please keep in mind that the course will not be closed to traffic. Please be courteous to the surrounding community and abide by all rules of the road.
The 2017 group runs are scheduled for August 21 and 28 at the QUAD Run starting line, on the campus of Mercyhurst North East (outside the bookstore). Runners will meet outside bookstore at 5:45pm an depart promptly at 6:00pm. Please come familiar with the course or a course map. 1-2 volunteers will be available to help runners but the group will spreadout.
Edinboro Group Rides
Starting the first Wednesday in April at 6:00pm a group of riders departs Edinboro University at 6:00pm for a 30-50 mile ride. Riders are broken into a A, B and C group (sometime D depending on how many riders show up). Rides meet at the football stadium parking lot along Perry Lane and leave promptly at 6:00pm.
Group A: averages 20+ mph
Group B: averages 17-18mph
Group C: averages 15-16mph
Group D: averaged less than 15mph
Girls Gone Cycle
A women’s cycle group that encourages inclusion to all fitness levels. Group rides are held every Monday at 6:00pm (April – August) at Walnut Creek Middle School. Join their group on Facebook or see their website for more details.
