2019 Highmark Quad Ski CANCELLED

I’m looking out my window at green grass, birds chirping, a tulip trying to make an appearance, and one very small and very sad pile of snow.

Some years we have lots of snow and some years we have no snow.  In 2019 we had snow, but on the wrong weekends.  It’s with a heavy heart that we cancel this year’s Quad Ski/Snowshoe (4th event of the Quad series).  Wilderness has lost almost everything and it is not possible to host this event.

This year’s Highmark Quad Series Results will be calculated based on three events: swim, bike, and run.  Big White Trailer will have these results posted soon.  I will be in touch with details on this year’s Highmark Quad Awards Banquet.  It will take place on a Sunday in March.

If you registered for the ski or snowshoe ONLY and purchased a shirt, reply to this email for details on picking it up at the County YMCA in Edinboro.

Don’t forget that the Quad Apparel Store will be open through the end of February.  All gift certificates must be used before it closes.  ALL gift certificates earned in 2018 will EXPIRE when the store closes on March 10, 2019.  https://stores.inksoft.com/YMCAQG/shop/home

The 2019/2020 Quad Events will take place on the following dates:

Swim: 4/28/2019
Bike: 7/13/2019
Run: 9/15/2019
Ski: 1/18/2020 (alt. date: 2/15/2020)
